Paid Preparer Due Diligence

This is a quick learning solution to review the basics of due diligence. It consists of a short, animated instructional video and a job aid. The authoring tools used for this project are Vyond for the instructional video, Canva for the job aid, and MS PowerPoint for the video storyboard.

To measure its effectiveness, we can observe and monitor the following metrics: the number of views, Tax Preparer Readiness Test scores from last year and this year, and the number of tax returns that were audited by the IRS. In addition, we can solicit learners’ feedback after training for their reactions.
